Dr. Rojas says that the best thing about being a dentist is having the ability to improve patients' oral health and boost their confidence at the same time. It's incredibly rewarding to help people alleviate pain, prevent future dental issues, and enhance their smiles, often during the same appointment! Plus, the profession offers a mix of science, artistry, lifelong learning, and patient care, making each day unique and fulfilling. She can’t wait to meet you and show what’s possible for your smile!
Dr. Rojas decided to become a dentist when she was a junior in high school. At the time, her mom asked her to take her younger brother to his orthodontist appointment, and while there, the orthodontist asked if she knew what she wanted to be when she grew up. She mentioned that she was interested in something medical because she loved health sciences and liked to challenge herself.
The doctor shared that he became an orthodontist because he enjoyed building model airplanes as a kid. Intrigued, Dr. Rojas asked what that had to do with dentistry. He explained that he loved using his hands for precise, intricate work. That's when it clicked for her—she realized that dentistry would let her combine her passion for science with her love for art and detailed craftsmanship. From that moment on, she knew she wanted to be a dentist.
Dr. Rojas attended Augustana College and majored in biology and biochemistry while also minoring in art. She then completed her dental education at the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Rojas comes from a Mexican-American family where she is the eldest child and only daughter. When she isn’t spending time with her parents or two younger brothers, she likes to explore the city with her fur baby, a Miniature Australian Shepherd named Zuli.
Recently, she has started playing pickleball and really enjoys it! She is also really into chess and regularly participates in local tournaments.
